1. Uninstall DV-36P program (if you had already
installed it on your computer) |
| Be
sure to uninstall the driver from the device manager utility (Located
in Start\Systems\Hardware\Device Manager\Universal Serial Bus Controllers\Cypress
EZ-USB(xxx/xxx/xxx….) to eliminate any installation complications.
This can be done by selecting the appropriate file as indicated
above and right clicking and selecting the uninstall option. |

Find
on the DV-36P installation CD the two files named “ezusb.sys”
and “ezusbw2k.inf” |
| 2. |
Copy
“ezusbw2k.inf” to “C:\WINDOWS\INF\” (Windows
XP) or “C:\WINNT\INF\” (Windows 2000) onto your computer. |
| 3. |
Copy
“ezbus.sys” to “C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\”
(Windows XP) or “C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\” (Windows
2000) onto your computer. |

Note: You must be able to view hidden directory under Windows 2000/XP
in order to see the INF and SYSTEM32 directories. For instructions
on how to see hidden directories under Windows 2000/XP, see Windows
2000/XP help.

Step 3. DV-36P Software Installation
|
| After
you have installed the USB driver onto your computer, you can install the
DV-36P SmartMedia Writer that provides a user-friendly interface for rapid
and error-free programming of Smart Media Cards. |

In
Windows, click “Start” and select “Run.”

| 2. |
In
the edit box, type “D:\setup.exe” and click “OK”
(where “D:\” is your CD-ROM driver letter that has DV-36P
Installation CD in it.) |

The
Installation Wizard will appear. Follow through the Installation
Wizard to install the DV-36P software. |

4. Restart your computer |
