PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The DV-68 is one of MedeaWiz's multi-function digital media players. The compact and industrial design has made the solution for POP and Kiosk even easier. The DV-68 allows you to store and playback full-motion DVD audio/video clips with high-speed Compact Flash memory cards (CF). In addition, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (DivX), JPEG, and MP3 file formats are also supported. Using DV-68 has been easier than ever, simply insert the CF card with desired clips and/or pictures to DV-68 and select your play mode from the DIP switch. With the solid-state technology incorporated, DV-68 provides crystal clear and sharp picture quality without degradation, regardless of the number of playbacks. The DV-68 player is also featured with instantaneous response to user input when a specific track is selected. It connects easily to any Composite (NTSC, PAL), VGA or S-Video monitor, amplified stereo audio system or multimedia POP displays. Best of all, DV-68 is the most reliable and long lasting Kiosk solution for the industry users at an affordable price.

With the DV-68 accessory, you will be able to customize DV-68 to meet your project's demand. Check out the following functions it provides:

Content Programming:

Have a PC compatible CompactFlash® card reader ready and connect it to your PC then insert a high speed CompactFlash® media card (CF). MedeaWiz recommends an Ultra High Speed (x32 speed) media card.
The DV-68 utilizes a 3-digit numbering system that is easy to set up using your PC’s file manager. If you want use the repeat mode for continuous track playback then name your multimedia files starting with 001, then 002 and so forth up to track 099.
Using your file manager to simply drag and drop compatible files from your PC to the Card Reader. DV-68 is compatible with MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (DivX), MP3, and JPEG file formats.
After transferring your multimedia files onto the CF card, remove the card and insert into the DV-68 player and your DV-68 player is ready to play.

ACCESSORIES

	DV-66K, Keypad Controller
	The required interface for connecting and controlling the DV-68 player with an external input device, such as push buttons. There are eight buttons per controller. 4800 baud rate. See details (PDF)

	DV-68H, Hard Drive Adaptor Module
	USB 2.0 High Speed Interface module for connect DV-68 player with 2.5” hard drive.

	Ultra II CompactFlash cards
	For best result with the DV-68, MedeaWiz recommends using the Ultra II high speed CompactFlash media cards.

	PIR Sensor (PCB Module)
	Motion sensors, used to detect moving objects, employs a variety of physical effects of a mechanical, electrical, magnetic, acoustic and optical nature; detecting movement from any angle and ideal solution for installations that demand reliable sensing without irritation due to false detection.

	RS232C Interface Cable
	RS-232C interface cable is designed for people looking for an easy-to-use serial port controls. RS-232C interface cable allows RS232 port device users to easily control the DV-68 series devices and the cable is the ideal solution for applications where local serial ports command control is required. This makes it suitable for applications such as POP, Kiosk, ATM machines, and other PC-based embedded systems.
