PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The DV-8803 is the only product of its kind available in the market. It is based on a PC system with Sigma Design Hardware Decoding for MPEG-1/2/4 and has a superior performance to regular software decoding machines. Based on solid-state technology the DV-8803 virtually eliminates the disadvantages of a regular PC. Moving parts were eliminated to give the unit the same reliability as a digital player but with the applications of a PC. The internal Watchdog timer ensures that the unit is always running and will automatically reboot in case of a freeze up.

The DV-8803 uses Disk on Module (DOM) to provide an extremely reliable environment for the Operating System instead of a traditional HDD. A CF slot is available for additional storage, allowing for separate storage from the OS of Video content and minimizing maintenance. The device is sealed to prevent dust and designed as a small and compact unit to allow it to fit almost anywhere.

As an added bonus the unit comes with a large aluminum heat-sink on chassis to dissipate heat generated by the system and minimize the already lower potential of overheating. The DV-8803 is an extremely versatile and expandable system. DV-8803 applicable to automation control, telecommunications, networking, the medical field and other applications .  DV-8803 offers media user a cost-effective and reliable network solution with the capability to enable advertisers to update information, change messages, and deliver high impact media to right place at the right time and all the time to keeping the media content fresh and relevant.
